Verse of the Week: Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
It can be paralyzing.
It can be all consuming.
What has gripped your heart this week? Has your mind been consumed this week with something other than our God?
We received some not-so-good news last week about our youngest daughter, Selah. There is still so much unknown and so many areas where we can easily fear and worry.
After spending a few days consumed with “what-ifs” and questions about her future, the Lord ever so gently reminded me that this too, He wants.
He has allowed me to be in a place of unknown not to increase my fear, but to increase my trust in Him. He goes with me. I am not alone. He will never leave me or forsake me.
What are you worrying about this week? Your birth to play out as you are planning it to? Your baby’s health? How you will endure through labor?
Whatever it is, we pray this week’s verse encourages you place your hope in Christ alone.
We want to provide you with tools to memorize Scripture every week, so we include a FREE printable and iPhone lockscreen at the bottom of every Verse of the Week. Enjoy & Share!
