Friends, sometimes things are just hard, and we want to honor that today. There are all kinds of hard…and we all walk in the hard things in different ways.
One of our founders, Abby, has been walking a hard road with her little girl for some time now. The light at the end of the tunnel often seems dim, I’m sure. She knows it’s there because she leans in hard and trusts to see with God’s eyes and not her own. This on its own is often hard.
Pressing in to the Father and asking to see through His eyes, to sometimes blindly fall into His arms and trust that He will hold us…
Some of you are walking in the hard stuff…in the muck and the mire. So much so, we could never fully understand or comprehend its impact on you, your family, your children, your marriage, and your intimacy with Christ.
We know some of our readers have lost babies. Some of you are facing not-so-good news about the little life rumbling in your belly. Some of you simply aren’t sure about this parenting thing; there are so many unknowns. Some of you are overdue and losing faith…that light at the end of the tunnel seems dim to you, too, and you only know it’s there because you have a God that loves you more than anything.
Do you remember how much He loves you? Have you praised Him today and thanked Him for His amazing, uncontrollable, incredible grace when we walk the HARD ROAD?
He is with you today in all the hard, my friends, and there is NOTHING more important to Him than having you SURRENDER to His LOVE, GRACE, and MERCY.
Be PATIENT friends…hold fast…be deeply ROOTED in the TRUTH OF HIS WORD today and tomorrow and the days to come. Come into HIS presence and press into His promises.
He is at the front of the battle with you. He is waging war on your behalf, even when it may seem things aren’t going well. He desires for you to draw near to Him and discover something even sweeter and deeper through the trial. We know “all things work together for the good of those who love Him” (Romans 8:28).
We pray you’ll visit our Youtube Playlist and be encouraged by His word through music. We pray you’ll find tools of encouragement in the shop that will bring your to your knees before the King of Kings. We pray you’ll SURRENDER to the Promises found in His word today.
Lyrics from Kari Jobe’s I Am Not Alone:
When I walk through deep waters
I know that You will be with me
When I’m standing in the fire
I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow
I will not fear
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
